Teenage dog academy

Because puppyhood was just the beginning.

Has your dog suddenly developed selective hearing?

Do walks feel harder than they used to?

Has recall become unreliable, lead pulling increased, or does your dog struggle to stay calm around people and other dogs?

If so, you're not alone.

Adolescence is one of the most challenging stages of dog ownership. Dogs who were once attentive puppies can suddenly become distracted, excitable and more interested in the world around them than listening to their owners.

The good news is that this is completely normal.

The Teenage Dog Academy has been specifically designed to help owners navigate the teenage months with confidence, providing practical training and support for real-life situations.

We Listened

Over the years we've worked with hundreds of puppies and their families.

One thing became clear.

Many owners left puppy class feeling confident and equipped with the foundations they needed, only to find that a few months later things started to unravel.

Recall disappeared.

Lead pulling returned.

Excitement around dogs and people increased.

Owners felt frustrated and unsure what to do next.

So we listened.

The Teenage Dog Academy has been purpose-built to bridge the gap between puppy training and adult dog life, helping owners develop the skills their dogs need during adolescence.

What We'll Work On

Each week focuses on practical skills that can be used in everyday life, including:
