I have over 10 years experience training dogs and extensive hands on experience with a wide range of animals. I want my clients to have the peace of mind that they are in safe hands. This is i am a 4th year degree student at Writtle University college one of the UK's leading animal science universities to achieve my BSC Honours in Animal Management pet behaviour and welfare. I have also been assessed and accredited by leading independent industry bodies including the IMDT, APDT, PPN and the Kennel Club . You can be assured I have the practical and academic ability to work with you and your dog.
The training methods we use are science based using reward based ethical training techniques. We want your pet to want to do something rather than do it because they are afraid of what might happen if they don’t.
We offer bespoke one to one in home or online training for problems & behavioural issues including separation anxiety, resource guarding, fears and phobias and reactivity.
We are fully insured with Cliverton Insurance company.

I share my life with my daughter Hollie, my 3 dogs Oliver, Eider & Hudson, Arnie the tortoise, 4 guinea pigs and a cat.
When i am not training other peoples dog’s i complete nationally with my dogs and have competed at Crufts yearly since 2020 winning 4th place in 2023 with my dog Hudson. I have also achieved Gundog, Obedience, Good citizen bronze, silver and gold and Agility awards with my own dogs.
In May 2013 after completing my level 2 & 3 OCN qualifications in dog training and behaviour at Writtle college and the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers i opened my dog training school Little Oliver Twists Dog Training Academy. The Academy offers puppy, life skills and agility training which is busier then ever currently proudly supporting over 150 pupils in our classes.
In 2020 Little Oliver Twists Dog training won runner up for the Kennel Clubs dog training school of the year. The awards were presented to us by the chairman of the kennel club at Crufts.
I started my academic education in 2020 attending Writtle University to complete my degree to become a clinical animal behaviourist graduating in 2024. Now alongside my training classes i work with animals with behaviour problems and complex needs on a one to one basis.
